iPhone Blog

My name is Bruce Radaikin. I am passionate about my iPhone. My original iPhone was replaced after a rant at an Apple Store to give me a new one after it froze permanently (I didn’t tell them my 2-year-old daughter slobbered all over it). The next one still works but got cracked playing dodge ball with 4th graders. I know, my bad, but I won the game. When I don’t work on this blog. Other interest include, teaching, chess, travel and spending time with my family.

My 3-year-old girl picked it up and started playing it and now plays it all the time on my iPhone or should I say our iPhone. It's amazing what seems like a relatively simple app design with cool graphics can be such a cool app but it is. You can dress Suzy up in various outfits and accessories including jewelry, hats and pets. I think that that children of all ages would like it, her Dad, me, has even checked it out a couple of times and has enjoyed playing it too. Is it educational? More of a game I would say but great fun and worth 99 cents for sure.

Why is my Brother-in-Law using T-Mobile is beyond me, yuck. But I have to use AT&T so I shouldn't talk. Will be interested to see if this app will save me money. The app would be awesome if it had a feature where the icon of the carrier would appear in the caller id with incoming calls, maybe on the next version. If you have to watch minutes, this is an invaluable app, definitely worth 99 cents.

My friend, Siraj and I keep texting each other on when we think the tablet is coming out. He said that it sounds like it will have handwriting recognition... All the buzz for this tablet is getting me wound up with anticipation.
